Alma Harmony Lite works by gradually heating targeted hair follicles with gentle pulses of IPL energy. The heat destroys the hair follicle preventing the regrowth of hair.
Multiple treatments at set intervals are required as at any given time, the hairs will be in one of three stages of growth or shedding which are: anagen, catagen, and telogen phases. Hairs in the Anagen phase are more sensitive to the different treatment modalities. Some follicles will not contain a hair or an attached hair and will therefore not respond to treatment as it is heating the attached hair that destroys the follicle.
